Stephanie Honey

Stephanie Honey is a consultant on international trade policy and government relations.  Stephanie worked on a range of roles with the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade over the course of 17 years, primarily focused on trade policy issues including serving for a period as New Zealand’s chief agriculture negotiator in the WTO Doha Round, a posting to Brussels and extensive engagement on trade matters in the Americas, Europe, Asia and Australia.  Since leaving the Ministry, Stephanie has worked as an independent trade policy and strategy consultant, focusing mainly on Asian, Australian and European issues for New Zealand government and business clients.   Stephanie has a BA in History and Italian and an MA (First Class Honours) from Auckland University, and has undertaken further studies in economics and negotiation skills at Victoria University of Wellington and at Said Business School, Oxford University.
